Rheumatologist Dr. Martin Morell, proudly serving patients in New Hartford, New York and throughout the Mohawk Valley.

At Arthritis Specialists, Dr. Morell specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis, autoimmune, and inflammatory conditions affecting the joints, tendons, and connective tissues. With a strong focus on early intervention and long-term disease management, he is committed to reducing inflammation, controlling pain, and preventing joint damage to improve overall quality of life.

Dr. Morell provides comprehensive, patient-centered care, offering oral medications, in-office injections, and advanced infusion therapy within a private, state-of-the-art infusion suite. His approach combines clinical expertise with personalized treatment planning to ensure each patient receives the most effective care. He also addresses balance and mobility concerns related to rheumatologic conditions to help reduce fall risk and support daily function.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Morell earned his medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University and completed his internship, residency in internal medicine, and fellowship in rheumatology at Albany Medical Center.

Dr. Morell has held several leadership roles throughout his career, including serving as Director of the Fibromyalgia Clinic at Sitrin Healthcare Center and as the Rheumatologist for the New York State Correctional Telemedicine Program. He is also an author of “Fibromyalgia – Unification Theory; Connecting the Dots,” reflecting his continued commitment to advancing understanding and care in rheumatology.
